It was a relief to discover the snowbird car we were delivering to Jupiter Florida was a spacious and luxurious Lexus LS450.....

with an empty back seat. 

Seems our 'overnite luggage' took up slightly more space than anticipated.

We are resting comfortably in a king sized bed at a lovely hotel in

South Carolina.....sipping RUM of course. 

Had to go thru duty free at 1am!

'HOMEWARD' BOUND TO PELICAN ROSE

October 25th.....the time has come once again. 
We are heading south to Indiantown tonite and have a Pelican Rose launch date of October 30th. 
Plans this year are quite a bit different and we are looking forward to doing some exploring on the Gulf Coast and south to the Dry Tortugas, finishing our trip by crossing over to the Bahamas.
December we head across Lake Okeechobee then north to Punta Gorda - returning to the original home of the original owners, Julie and Roland. 
We are housesitting for them Jan/Feb. and we plan to do day and overnite trips around and about the area until they return home. 
Fair Winds and Trawlerable Seas Mates!

Our trawler is 'sleeping' til the season starts again in November. 

We are HOUSE SITTING for Peter's sister and brother-in-law, while they RV their way to Alaska.   

The house is in a great location, half way between all our grandkids and with quick access to the 401 hwy at Yonge/Sheppard.

Just in case you would ever like us to house sit for you during boating off season, or if you would like to refer us to a dear friend or relative. 

We have a shortlist of house sitting that has been offered to us from Ontario to California to Florida.
We will be taking very good care of the home of Julie & Roland in Punta Gorda for six weeks in Jan/Feb/2013.  We speak of them frequently enough that everyone should know they were the previous owners of our Mainship.  In Julie's words....'You are the only people we know that will be able to walk right in with no explanations about the house and figure it all out on your own without any issues.'  This comment prompted our posting of the video below....    (with many thanks to BroBill, Filmographer & Special Effects Extraordinaire)
